Meet Treva Greaser, Interim VP of Operations

Treva Greaser served in leadership at Schowalter Villa, Hesston, KS, (Bluestem Communities) for 14 years and was Executive Director from 2012 until 2023. During the time of her leadership, Schowalter Villa had four zero-deficiency State/CMS surveys; improvements were achieved in quality indicator and quality measure scores, and resident-family satisfaction scores; 39 semi-private healthcare rooms were transitioned to private; and an accredited dementia specialty neighborhood was implemented resulting in a significant reduction in antipsychotic medication use; as well as multiple other successful programs.

 

Treva has worked in health care for over 40 years and has over 20 years of leadership experience. Her consulting expertise provides various services including Interim CEO or Interim Executive Director/ Administrator for aging services and Executive Coaching for administration and clinical leaders. Treva also provides expertise in team building, change management, process improvement, project management, and clinical and resident life.

 

Treva is a licensed Administrator and Registered Nurse. She holds certifications in Rehabilitation Nursing and Executive Nursing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bethel College in N. Newton, Kansas.

People would be surprised to know about me:

My dad was a nursing home administrator as I was growing up. Beginning at a very young age, I frequently visited residents on Sunday afternoons and holidays.
