Greencroft Communities’ Accreditations and Affiliations
Greencroft Communities are not–for–profit Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs), some accredited by the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CCAC), and have met high standards for financial resources, planning and resident health services.
What is a CCRC?
Continuing Care Retirement Communities offer services and housing packages that allow access to independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing services. Seniors who are independent may live in a single-family home, apartment or condominium within the Continuing Care retirement campus. If they begin to need help with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, dressing, eating, etc.), they have priority access to assisted living or skilled nursing services if ever needed. Seniors who choose to live in a Continuing Care Retirement Community find it reassuring that their long-term care needs will be met without the need to relocate.
