Steve Schaaf, who has served as Vice President of Operations overseeing Golden Years Homestead and Great Lakes Christian Retirement Homes since 2015, has been promoted to Vice President of Operations and Quality.
During his tenure, Schaaf has played a vital role in ensuring financial success at both communities while also mentoring team members, helping them advance within the organization. He has overseen renovation projects designed to enhance services for both residents and team members. In his new role, Schaaf will focus on system integration, professional development, and driving growth in Greencroft’s quality metrics, working closely with leadership teams across all campuses.

“At Greencroft, our core values guide us in fostering an environment where team members can realize their full potential,” said Hugh Davis, CEO of Greencroft Communities. “Steve’s new role will help us continue elevating quality across our campuses, while Darrin’s training program demonstrates our commitment to developing future leaders in senior living.”
These leadership transitions reflect Greencroft Communities’ continued investment in talent development and enhancement of services to benefit residents, team members, and the broader communities they serve.
