Rededication Celebration at Oak Grove Christian Retirement Community
Wilbert and Peggy Hamstra were the guests of honor at a Rededication Celebration at Oak Grove Christian Retirement Community on May 15. About 200 friends and family gathered to honor them and to tour the newest addition to the campus, the Oak Street Memory Care Unit.
“It is no exaggeration to say that without Wilb, Oak Grove would not exist,” said Mark King, President and CEO of Greencroft Communities. “Wilb is the founder and the visionary behind this beautiful campus.”
Lynda Olinski, Greencroft Communities Founda-tion President, unveiled a framed portrait of the Hamstras to be hung in the lobby of Oak Grove. The family's story of ongoing generosity completes the display.
