Greencroft Communities, Inc., a distinguished faith-driven, nonprofit providing senior housing and healthcare services to seniors, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Hugh Davis, RN, DNP, NHA, RMC as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective February 2024.
Dr. Hugh Davis brings a deep commitment to the mission of Greencroft Communities and has extensive experience in faith-based nonprofit senior living. With a career spanning over 20 years of executive leadership, Hugh has experience driving strategic growth and operational excellence for senior living organizations. He has a track record of cultivating engaged, high-performing cultures focused on enriching residents' wellbeing. For the past nine years, Davis served as President and CEO of Menno Haven Retirement Communities in Chambersburg, PA.
"We are blessed to welcome Hugh as the new CEO," stated David Weaver, Chair of the Board of Directors for Greencroft Communities. "We believe Hugh is not only a skilled leader but also someone who embodies the values and principles that are at the heart of our organization. He will help us continue to deliver on our mission of creating dynamic living communities grounded in service excellence, compassionate care, and Mennonite values."
Davis expressed his dedication to the role, saying, "I am honored to join the Greencroft family. I am committed to preserving the Greencroft legacy while furthering the strategic growth initiatives to ensure that together we can meet the needs and desires of upcoming generations. The combination of faith and service is a guiding light for myself and my family. I consider it a privilege to work alongside a compassionate team to provide residents with love, care, and support, rooted in Christ like values."
The entire Greencroft community is filled with hope and excitement for this new chapter and looks forward to working collaboratively with Davis to continue the legacy of excellence.
Davis will succeed Dr. Mark King, PHD, MBA, FACHE who has faithfully served Greencroft Communities, Inc. for 20 years. King announced his retirement earlier this year to the board of directors. King led the Greencroft ministry through tumultuous change with grace and dignity.
