We’re looking for an energetic Windsor Court Front Desk Assistant to join our team at Windsor of Savoy in beautiful Savoy, Illinois! In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for greeting residents and guests, handling emergency situations, and supporting our management team with a variety of administrative tasks. You’ll be at the heart of our community, making a difference every day!
What You’ll Do:
- Greet residents, families, and guests with a warm welcome and direct them around the campus
- Answer phones, take messages, and handle calls with top-notch customer service
- Assist with resident requests and connect them to services they need
- Manage systems like pharmacy pick-ups, dry cleaning, and transportation schedules
- Be the first point of contact during emergency situations, ensuring residents are safe and well-cared for
- Provide clerical support to the management team, including handling billing, printing daily activity flyers, and more
- Supports the extended management team by providing clerical support. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting with billing, printing daily activity flyers, printing daily menus, assembling marketing packets, etc.
- Performs housekeeping and light maintenance duties as needed. In Windsor Court, acts as a Resident Service Assistant as needed.
Schedule:
- M, W, F 8-1, Sat/Sun 8-430. Schedule may vary during the summer as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- A friendly, team-oriented individual with strong communication skills
- Associate’s Degree or a combination of one (1) year experience in an office/customer service
environment and a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required - Ability to remain calm and focused in emergencies and high-pressure situations
- Must be able to pass preemployment screening.

You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality dining experience in both the dining room and at catered events, ensuring meals are served promptly, with a focus on presentation and resident satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include serving food and beverages, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining clean and organized serving and preparation areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver efficient and formal table service to residents and guests during mealtimes and catered functions.
- Assist with food preparation, set-up, and clean-up to ensure a smooth dining experience.
- Respond to resident requests and resolve any concerns promptly.
- Ensure food is presented and served according to established standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members and leadership to maintain a high standard of service.
Position Requirements:
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be at least 16 years old. Food Handler Certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Skills: Strong customer service skills, ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members, and a passion for serving others in a formal dining setting.
- Physical & Mental Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive motions. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment.
- Must be able to pass preemployment screening.

- Help residents prepare for appointments, outings, and transportation in a timely manner
- Respond to resident calls promptly and assist in emergencies as needed
- Monitor and document vital signs and other health-related tasks
- Act as a mentor to new RSAs, helping to train and guide team members
- Foster a warm, caring environment for residents and families
What We’re Looking For:
- A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or 1 year of caregiving experience
- Ability to perform vital sign checks, blood glucose monitoring, and other care procedures (training available!)
- Compassionate, positive attitude with a passion for helping older adults
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- BLS and Food Handler certifications (or the ability to obtain within 30 days)

Job Description:
Transportation Driver will drive bus or other vehicles for activities scheduled outside the facility, including but not limited to shopping trips, and doctor’s appointments.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Valid chauffeur’s license and a knowledgeable understanding of Illinois law as it pertains to public transportation.
- High school diploma, GED, or its equivalent preferred.
- Ability to communicate with the written and verbal word.
- Special interest in driving and in the aging population.
