Job Description:

To oversee and participate in the direct care of residents. Responsible for the nursing assistants, ensuring that their duties are carried out appropriately.

Duties include:

• Receive report from out-going nurse at the beginning of the shift and give report to in-coming nurse at the end of the shift.
• Supervise and oversee the CNA’s work.
• Informed and knowledgeable of each resident’s care needs and ensure that care plans are carried out appropriately.
• Make routine checks of residents and maintain awareness of their conditions and needs
• Perform routine nursing care measures, including vital signs, weight and food intake monitoring, and behavior monitoring when appropriate

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Current and in good standing, licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio required.
• Must maintain license as required by the facility or the state.
• Experience with older patients and long-term care preferred.

• Offering a variety of shift options (4 hours, 8 hours, or 12 hours)
• Taking applications for ALL shifts
